BIDEN'S JANUARY FIFTH SPEECH

Based upon his recent Philidelphia rant, it is clear Joe Biden and whatever part of America or the democratic party he represents, is poised to win re-election by demonizing Donald Trump and his supporters. 

Biden proclaims that all things Trump and MAGA are evil forces and the antithesis of our free enterprise republic. Using and exaggerating the 1/5 civil disturbance rather than present the successful results of his administration, he insults his chief political opponent. Also, he brands the millions of citizens who believe Trump's presidential tenure was a good period as violence prone cretins.

The Trump years gave us a credible southern border plan. Legal immigrants were welcomed while illegal immigrants were discouraged. We were domestically energy independent and a major world supplier of energy products. Our national economy was vibrant and good for all job holders and entrepreneurs. Without starting wars, our position as the world's leading  military and diplomatic power was apparent. Trump was unafraid to meet with any foreign leader and well represented our best national interests in all his encounters. Trump, like Ronald Reagan, recognized that government by an ever growing bureaucracy in Washington was a danger and impediment to individual freedoms and our free enterprise economy. In my opinion, Trump correctly believes D.C. is a swamp of politicians, bureaucrats, military complex lobbyists, foreign spies and lawyers afraid of a change to their comfortable and profitable status quo. A healthy and wealthy Trump engaged media at every turn and never needed to use his political postion for financial gains.  

In stark contrast, Biden negated our energy independence in the first days of his presidency. This single action began our economic decline and has damned citizens to a continuing state of inflation. He threw open our southern border to any and all illegal immigrants and granted them undeserved rewards which will cost American taxpayers billions of dollars in future taxes. In has sloppy withdrawal from Afghanistan, he clearly signaled the world and our enemies his weakness as a world leader. Biden's economic plan for America known as "Bidennomics" has been a failure where billions have been wasted on silly and unworthy projects. Seems as though Biden seeks to please every fringe segment of the democratic party while ignoring the millions of veterans, homeless and drug addicts who deserve financial assistance more than illegal border jumpers. Lastly, the Biden Family has been corrupted by financial payoffs in return for political favors. Ever so slowly, the facts of this corruption will be revealed and become apparent despite the media, academic and hollywood legions of Biden backers. 

The incompetence and corruption of Biden has been consistently ignored or unreported by the mainstream media. Biden hides and evades the press and their questions. His public words are often filled with lies and the incomprehension of an intellectually challenged old man. His press secretary and cabinet members expertly skirt obvious failures and spin their agenda to blame republicans and Trump for their miscues and mis-deeds. Biden requires special handling and long weekends and vacations away from Washington and his presidential duties.    

Mark well Biden's 1/5/24 speech because it signals his tone for the upcoming election cycle. His simple plan is to demonize republicans and Trump for covid and the failures of his four year administration. Biden's campaign will be an unending diatribe of anger and hate for Trump, his supporters, and any opposing views. Biden has no positive plan to make America better. No fresh ideas to reclaim our energy independence, border security, strong economy or world leadership. Using federal agencies and state governments to snare Trump in endless lawsuits and removal from ballots is clearly a trademark action of communist regimes. Demonizing, imprisioning, silencing and muffling the constitutional rights of the opposition is not an American political or constitutionally legal tradition.

UPDATE - POST # 1 FINAL LAP

As my physical energy wanes and mental capacities diminish, it seems a good time to share the thoughts, memories, and experiences which have framed my years. While I'm not quite ready for a rest home or grave, I'm seeing the final laps of my race through life.

This collection of blogs fulfills my wish to share a few memories, opinions, and fantasies. Hopefully, my jumble of words and paragraphs will entertain some and spark a few thoughts and laughs.

Most of all, as a wannabe author of memorable literature, my desire is to occasionally communicate with clarity and passion. Enjoy my dribbles of prose in The Final Lap and excuse the sloppy spelling, confusing punctuation, and run on sentences.

UPDATE - In 2018 I fulfilled a lifetime literary dream. Wrote and published a narrative/biography about my father's life and times. The book "Humble Hero" has received all five star reviews from Amazon buyers and was used several years as a teaching tool by Poquoson (Va.) High School's history department.

SCARY TIMES?

Given the grave situation in the Middle East, our wide open southern border and a ruling political party in Washington unable or unwilling to show leadership, I'd say we may be on the brink of some bad times. How many terrorists getting through our southern border will it take to stain our nation with another 9/11 catastrophe? 

Biden shut down our energy independence, fled Afghanistan in a manner which reeked of weakness and chaos. Further, he has shown little or no courage in facing the military and economic challenges of China. In my opinion, Biden is either a very weak or comprimised President. Maybe both. Is he and his family beholding to China for illegal financial gains? 

How many more rounds of apeasement to Iran or billion dollar outlays to Ukraine will it take before our leaders in Congress put a stop to Biden's sloppy and dangerous giveaways and governance?

For the last three years, the world and United States have suffered a steady siren song about climate change, a Justice Department at war with Trump, bidnenomics, he/she pronouns, and an agenda catering to the most extreme political and social changes of the far left. Our national budget has been wrecked by printing dollars worth less than one hundred cents. This has happened to fund out of control federal spending chasing the impossible dreams of socialism and enriching self serving lobbyists, politicans and the power brokers of the military/industrial complex. 

As 2024 state and federal elections loom, do we need new leaders with more pragmatic, objective views and goals?  Can our nation really afford more of what we've witnessed since Biden and his wishy washy lot took over in 2021?

Whether their political tag is Democrat, Republican, Libertarian or Independent don't we need fresh leaders dedicated to our Constitution, body of established laws and capitalism? 

Our nation and world have become more dangerous over the last few years because of poor politicans and their stupid decisions. Is it not time for Americans to snuff out this lousy status quo and get America back to it's role as the dominant world beacon of representative government and economic greatness?

WIN -WIN DECLARATIONS

I think the oft used pharse " win - win " is an interesting and curious line used by politicians, salesmen, media muppets, climate cultists, church leaders, social activists, union leaders and others. Real win - win siuations are rare, if not impossible, in my opinion. 

Recently a prominent Virginia politician said a new tax increase was a win - win situation and another indicated a massive spending bill was a win - win. Does anyone accept or believe such folly?

Someone always loses money, favor or influence in win - win deals while the other party gains money, favor or influence. Has the mental illness of socialism or basic stupidity actually convinced some folks that a politician, car salesman or begging preacher with a win- win proposition is an honest broker or nothing more than a liar pursusing their own self interests. 

Friends, be highly skeptical or better yet run away from most of the purveyors of win - win promises!

WAKING THE "WOKE"

 Seems lately, a lot of people proudly declare they are "woke". 

Their virtue signaling messages beg the question about the time they were not "woke". What and where were they before they became "woke"? 

Were they asleep to the history that got us here? Did they forget the great patriots, inventors, entrepreneurs, political, social leaders and legal immigrants that gave America the greatest free market republic in the history of the world? 

Are they unaware of the immense personal liberties established by a revolution and maintained by millions of involved civic minded citizens and veterans? 

When did these "woke" folks decide the Constitution, Bible and existing U.S. laws were optional tenants of our civilization?

When did these "woke" individuals decide God created more than two sexes? Further, that government could replace the emotional and material support traditionally provided by a nuclear family with laws and mandates.

Are the "woke" knowledgeable of our  full history of magnificent progress and maturity in a steady route to fulfill the promises of our enlightened Constitution? 

Were the "woke" asleep during  basic economics classes which taught the rich, entrepreneurs, corporations and inventors create jobs and wealth?

Do the "woke" understand that government provides few if any consumer services or products, and is primarily interested in taxing people and coveting more power over citizens?

Do the "woke" appreciate that U.S. industry and creativity  helped end world wide poverty common in the nineteenth and twentieth century? 

Were they snoozing when foreign nation after nation sucked up the empty promises of socialism which killed billions, impoverished most while enriching only a few at the top ?

Were the "woke" in a state of slumber when race pimps and wanna be MLK's, preached bad criminal black men were heroes and martyrs? And, questioning anything espoused by  any political, entertainment or social leader of color was an automatic and unforgivable act of racism?

When did the "woke" decide cops and civil law and order were bad things? Who convinced these knuckle heads that it was OK for government agencies and media organizations be used as political weapons against certain politicians and groups of Americans?

When did the "woke" decide "guns" committed crimes and energy independence was a bad thing? And, when did they determine the USA and not China, Russia, India etc. were the greatest world polluters?

When did the "woke" decide wide open national borders were OK and a legitimate way to gain easy voters with rights and benefits equal to or greater than many legal immigrants and citizens? When did our "woke" friends determine the world is doomed to man made climate disasters as announced every few years by climate charlatans and their political puppets?

While many in the "woke" crowd are boastful of their high moral  ground, they are naive and ignorant of history and the real world. In my opinion, many need a strong refresher course in world and American history, and economics 101.

  

IF REPUBLICANS WIN - WHAT NEXT?

If republicans sweep the mid term elections and take control of congress and a few more governorships, what next? 

*  Will republican lawmakers take steps to immediately and safely utilize ALL forms of energy to  insure we regain our energy independence and halt the staggering inflation?

*  Will a republican congress eliminate the planned employment of 87.000 new IRS agents and reform the IRS?

*  Will republicans assist states and major cities in strengthening their police forces and develop more humane ways to deal with their homeless and drug addicted citizens?

*  Will a republican congress take steps to close our borders to all illegal aliens and strengthen our border patrol agents?

*  Will republicans enact legislation to strengthen our military forces and eliminate the social engineering of our armed forces?

*  Will republicans launch hearings to reveal corruption within the DOJ and implement reforms?

*  Will republicans launch hearings to identify and prosecute the groups and individuals responsible for the killings and massive property destruction which occured during the summer of 2020 riots?

*  Will republicans disband the Department of Education and return full control and federal funding of public schools to the states?

*  Will republican lawmakers shut down or cut off the wasteful progressive spending schemes enacted or proposed by Biden and the democrats?

*  Will republicans fully investigate The Biden family business dealings with China, Russia and Ukraine?

*  Will republicans re evaluate our funding of the Ukraine Russian War and insist European nations assist their neighbor?

*  Will republican legislators fire unelected government officials who have not fulfilled their missions?

*  Will republicans introduce legislation to enact reasonable term limits for it's members by age or years served? 

Its  time for republicans to act on all their campaign pledges and promises. Will they?

 

55 YEARS ....

 Peggy & I have quietly celebrated our 55th marriage anniversary.

A long time filled with love, blessings, anxiety and challenges. Peggy was always the intelligent and common-sense partner, and I added energy and some limited creativity to our pursuits. Somehow, it worked.

We have been lovers, parents, grandparents, best friends, realtors, restaurant and e-bay entrepreneurs, teachers, authors, and life partners for the largest part of our lives. From a humble start, God and our efforts gave us modest prosperity, nice homes and extensive travel opportunities

Our journey has been further blessed by loving family members and friends plus supportive past business associates.

Fifty- five years is a long run, but for us it's been a happy journey.  We thank the Lord for his blessings and our time as husband and wife. 

QUACK QUACKERY !

Most mornings I enjoy rising, sipping my coffee while witnessing the miracle of a new day. The sunrise and sounds of birds and squirrels scrambling and fluttering presents a peaceful moment. Lately, duck hunting season has disturbed that quiet and tranquility to some extent. While hunters fire away at unsuspecting ducks and geese along the nearby creeks and river, I hear mournful honks and squawks from the alarmed water fowl as they escape the gunners. 

In a few weeks, citizens will vote and cast aside many local and national politicians who have not served the people so well. When January of 2023 rolls around, I suspect a lot of quacking from many recently fired/retired politicans. Biden and many of his cohorts will soon become lame ducks. Hopefully, some order and common sense will displace the political foolishness we've endured since January 2021. 

So quack quack to the progressive far left loonies and their media cheer leaders as American voters peacefully blast away.  

WHY YOUR 2024 VOTE MATTERS

This message is for fair minded voters of all political persuasions. Read no further if you are convinced Donald Trump was and is the embodiment of all evil, MAGA is a nasty term and republicans are unsophisticated, racist, gun toting, xenophobic jackasses. 

If not, consider these issues.

Since Joe Biden became president, our nation has undergone many negative changes. 

First, we are no longer a energy independent nation. The inflating costs of oil has increased the costs of food, housing, energy, new and used cars, gas, and most durable and non-durable goods. These increased costs have exceeded or stressed our weekly salaries or fixed retirement income. Wall Street has suffered shocks which decrease the value of our stock portfolios along with 401k and other retirement plans. Wage increases have simply not kept up with inflation. Biden continues to waste our tax dollars on giveaways designed to appease far left voting blocs, unnecessary wars, and the impossible dream of socialism.   

Guided by far-left political contributors and politicians, Biden has launched huge spending bills commonly lumped together as something called "Biden-nomics". Most of these spending schemes satisfy a fringe group or cause. In the name of "climate change' or "global warming" these plans have increased the national debt and, by necessity, increased taxes for tax paying individuals and corporations. Biden and a tiny group of far left influencers want the government to protect every citizen by government mandates and laws. Regulate all commerce, consumer choices, citizens health care, education, freedom of movement etc. and the USA will be better place is their vision. This is clearly a plan of socialism and dictatorship. Biden and many other political tyrants like to get the easy votes from people accustomed to, or expecting life time relief via government handouts. Masses of otherwise productive, inventive, creative workers and leaders have been hyptonized by cradle to grave government handouts. Give the people "free" food vouchers, "free" telephones, "free" everything forever and enter the brave new world of government "happiness". Does Biden, his political enforcers, and the media base really think socialism is a better economic condition than capitalism? In the history of the world, has socialism ever worked in any large country. Socialism destroys the middle class economically, while taking away individual choices and liberty. Ultimately, socialism only enriches a tiny class of politicians and there most ardent henchmen and financial backers.  

Biden has allowed domestic urban violence, looting, a wide open border, drug deaths,and anti police sentiments to continue. The significant loss of lives, injuries, collosal property damage witnessed by democrat mayors, governors and federal lawmakers after the Floyd murder was far more serious and widespread than the January 6th incident. However, no grand congressional hearings have ever sought to hold individuals or groups accountable in the post Floyd mayhem. Obviously, Biden and many democrats consider law enfocement and the Constitution a most subjective game. Biden and his DOJ focus on a major theme of  demonizing and imprisioing Trump and any political enemies while excusing political officials and their populations which are historically democratically voting areas.  

Biden caused inflation and the loss of our energy independence the day he took office when he shut down our domestic drillings and pipe lines. Appeasing a fanatic "climate change" religious cult, Biden is steadily destroying our standard of living with pipe dreams of wind turbines, solar panels and electric vehicles. New federal regulations and inititaves  are destroying our traditional energy suppliers, right whales and flocks of winged creatures. Bidenomics and his stupid energy policies have been a joke and big lie enjoyed by OPEC and China at the expense of every American taxpayer.  

Under Biden our Southern border has become a freeway for illegal aliens, drug cartels, and terrorists from all over the globe. Biden keeps our border open in hopes of getting easy votes. He shows no loyalty to the great tradition of legal immigration and absolutely no regard for taxpayers and citizens bearing the burden and suffering unnecessary acts of illegal alien violence. 

Biden and his cadre of agents have failed the country. He blamed the last president for all his shortcomings and failures and promised to unite a divided nation. By his own bumbling, reliance on far left advisors and gross incompetence he has created crisis after crisis and further divided the nation by consistently denouncing half of the nations voters and their intelligence. 

If you are weary of inflation, diminishing 401K values, the flood of southern border illegal immigrants, runaway drug fatalities, police and military defunding, unpunished criminals, increasing prices on  everything, education loan cancellations, career elitist politicians, stupid federal expenditures, maybe 87000 new IRS agents, a foreign war, a near empty federal oil reserve, dependence on our enemies for gas, tax increases, a bigger federal government with more bureaucrats and rules, and a genuinely weak and incompetent president then think change in your future voting. 

Biden must go in 2024. 

A new democrat or republican president willing and able to articulate a common sense approach to fix everything Biden broke must be elected. A big shakeup in Congress is also required to retire the    seriouly old and "do nothing" members unwilling to acknowledge and champion the true concerns of their constuients. 

  

MY VIEW TO 2100?

Here are my predictions, fears and hopes for the nation and world to the year 2100. As an expert in nothing I believe my forecasts are as legitimate guesses as anyone else's! 

DOMESTIC POLITICS

The elephant party will regain political power at the local, state and national levels over the next few elections. By mid-century, cooler and more reasonable party leaders will soften the extreme views of far left and right factions of the democrat and republican political machines. More compromises and cooperation will foster a brief period of relative political calm as politicians, bureaucrats and lobbyists seek to advance our liberties as outlined in the Constitution. This positive turn will not be one of altruism but a necessary reaction to parents, taxpayers and voters becoming more aware of their collective power and less tolerant of "cradle to grave" central government controls and horrendous taxation. Transient extremist groups, unlimited government spending, anti-police movements, socialist programs and the religion of climate change will fade as citizens become better educated and less tolerant to swallow the big lies and schemes from the federal government and their media cheerleaders. By late in the century the balance of political power will have shifted between the elephants and donkeys a few times. Old fashioned political warfare will likely close this century. 

WORLD POLITICS

In the short-term Putin will fail even if he succeeds. A revived and expansive Soviet Union or Russian Empire will not happen because free people such as the Ukrainians will never tolerate foreign invasions and permanent occupation forces. Also, the tenacity and bravery of the Ukranian people will send an important message to China and other wannbe aggressive nations. China will not militarily invade Taiwan. Other would-be aggressive nations will be less anxious to gain new territory and natural resources from their neighbors employing military means. Simply stated, they will get sneakier in their approach. The Chinese Communist Party will lead this trend with a series of "soft" invasions and occupations where extensive economic aid will replace military forces. African, Asian, and Middle East nations will remain primary Chinese targets during the balance of this century. Unless the United States gives Cuba, a lifesaving boost of economic help, this island nation could easily become a new Chinese pursuit. The days of major nations seeking to plant their political will in other places will become rarer and more subtle and not rely so much on armed forces. The power and influence of the UN will continue to diminish until it is disbanded, and New York will get back a valuable piece of its real estate. NATO and other international alliances will stumble along through the century. The evil empire of North Korea will succumb and implode as its beleaguered population learns more of the good life and abundance enjoyed by South Korea and Japan.   

OUTER SPACE AND ALIENS

The private and government funded programs of space exploration will dramatically expand. For a time, this development will bode well for humanity in terms of new economic development and scientific discoveries. However, great conflicts will arise when a celestial body is found to be rich in natural resources. Earthmen of different nations will race to occupy and mine said planet or star within the next few decades. Space or earth-bound wars may ensue to secure ownership of these new places among the stars. Contact with intelligent beings, not of this earth, will happen before the century ends. The scientific curiosity of humans and celestial aliens will collide and cause this momentous event. If the aliens have any human tendencies or characteristics the outcome could be murky. World religions may be shaken to their core when aliens and earth discoveries in the universe reveal astonishing new information about the origins of all life.  

    

GUNS DON'T KILL

Whenever social media reports a mass killing or celebrity crime, their seems an automatic reflex to blame the weapon, weapon maker or origin state of the weapon for the crime. Weapons don't maim and kill and it's another stupid attempt by the political left and their fawning media to detach the criminal from any accountability. This accountability factor is employed for a host of cases except anything involving a policeman.

Guns, knives, ropes, rocks, SUV's, sticks and other inert lifeless things have never killed anyone. The slimeball crooks employing the inert objects to intentionally injure or kill someone are to blame for the crime. 

It's all about common sense and like sheep too many Americans have been fed so much malarky about accountability there is a tendency by many to overlook the evil person committing the crime.

WAKE UP AMERICA! 

IMPEACH BIDEN

If republicans win the House and Senate in 2022 isn't it time, they consider impeaching Joe Biden on the grounds of his incompetence and repeated failures in foreign and domestic affairs? 

From day one, the Biden agenda has been marked by many self-inflicted failures and likely controlled by a noisy and wrong-headed minority faction of far-left democrat socialists. Specifically, America and the free world have been set back by these Biden directed miscues and failures:

1. A confusing and sad exit strategy from the Covid situation. 

2. A weak and poorly strategized exit from Afghanistan.

3. A voluntary surrender of our energy independence.

4. An inability to represent America and the free world's best interests in dealing with Russia, China and Iran.

 5. A repeated habit of blaming problems of his own making on others. A continuing reliance on demonizing all things Trump, the January 6th riot, Americans, and republicans for our current sad state of affairs.

6. A timid response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. How about Tiawan? 

7. A southern border immigration policy devoid of common sense and law. A Biden/Harris border now  wide open to anyone and everyone from anywhere.

8. Reliance on old failed ideas such as the United Nations and Paris Accords. A consistent willingness to follow others rather than lead.  

In addition to Joe Biden's obvious cognitive issues, there are likely layers of corruption stemming from Hunter Biden's financial dealings overseas. In my opinion, the President is hiding inquiries into improper and illegal financial payoffs to his family from Chinese, Ukranian and Russian interests. He may be acting out of a threat of blackmail from these nations.

Congress seamlessly impeached Donald Trump on flimsy allegations of Russian collusion, a phone call to a foreign leader and a 1/6 riot. The impeachment process is a valid method of recognizing misbehavior and or poor performance from the Commander and Chief whether he or she is a democrat or republican. Biden is incompetent and dangerous for America and the Free World.

Joe Biden hasn't "built back anything better". Instead, Joe Biden has destroyed the economy and lowered our standing as a super power. 

Impeach Biden and Harris? 

Hell yes!

 

THE KYLE RITTENHOUSE MODEL ?

Thinking of other young men from other times; full of idealism, energy and testosterone, was Rittenhouse really unique ? Was he a hero or anti hero ?

I believe there have been many Kyles in our history from the American Revolution, Civil War and other wars of the 18th and 19th century through the great World Wars, Conflicts in Korea, Vietnam and Gulf States of the Mideast. Young men often lacking an abundance of formal education, common sense, and from homes without both parents. Many of these have done some crazy and remarkable things. Boys, like young Rittenhouse, enthralled with weapons and intoxicated by fantasy heroic characters from classic literature to video games felt they could protect their friends and bring justice to a riot. 

Every great assault against our republic has resulted in young people volunteering for the fight. Outraged by Pearl Harbor or 9/11, millions of teenagers and young people have rushed to enlist and willingly marched off to war. Politicians declare the wars and send our youngest and best off to win the wars. While many survive or become heroes too many return to America in body bags. Usually an eighteen year old or twenty something doesn't know all the reasons for a war. In the foggy glow of patriotism, seeking justice, family tradition or answering the nations call, they march off to war. 

Wars and armed conflicts happen when differences between nations or tribes cannot find agreement and peace with dialogue and negotiations. In my opinion, the riots of 2020 and 2021 happened because some groups refused to recognize the important role of established laws and a fair judicial system. Outraged by an event and anxious to find "quick justice", street mobs kidnapped legitimate concerns and sponsored waves of looting, burning, killing and maiming. In too many places, intimidated mayors, governors and national politicians failed to defend police, laws, courts and allowed or encouraged violence. 

Was Kyle Rittenhouse any different than the colonial boy in Boston who died while trading blows with a heavily armed British soldier ? Was Rittenhouse any different than a fifteen year old lying about his age to get into the war the day after Pearl Harbor ? Is it possible that sometimes young people feel compelled to drastic action when established leaders fail to maintain peace and security ?  

Despite the jury verdict, Rittenhouse killed two white men and injured one white man. He will never forget the violence and must live with a form of  PTSD forever. While Rittenhouse and other young men shouldn't carry around or contemplate using a deadly weapon, too many do and it begs a question. Where the hell were the police to quell the mayhem ?  Why wasn't the media and all their talking heads laying out the facts of the incident rather than convicting Rittenhouse as a racist killer ? Why did the Wisconsin governor in 2020 not allow extra National Guard troops into Kenosha when President Trump suggested same ?  Why did so many racist commentators and politicians frame the tragic actions of Rittenhouse as "racism" ? Why will the ongoing narrative from political and media left pundits continue to distort the facts of this sad case. 

Shouldn't the leaders of our nation get off their pandering soapboxes long enough to enforce common sense law and order ? I believe, Kyle Rittenhouse and other young people should not feel compelled to be agents of law and order. Real leaders can no longer wait for poll results before they take action. 

COMING SOON - A SECOND AMERICAN REVOLUTION

I believe a return to common sense government will dawn in America between the 2022 and 2024 elections. This second revolution began in Virginia which ironically played a significant role in the first revolution. While restoring the nation to a stronger constitutional republic governed by laws may take a few years, current trends indicate a new national direction.    

Too many citizens have had enough of BLM & ANTIFA mobs, street violence, open borders, ineffectual greedy politicians, anti police rhetoric, big city looting, Chinese Virus confusion and hypocrisy, politicized left wing media, out of touch federal Departments of Education, Taxation, Labor, Transportation etc., and a military headed by political generals more interested in gender pronouns than a proper Afghanistan retreat. The days of "woke" and "cancel culture" politics and social conformity are ending. The election of Youngkin started it and the 2022 midterms will hopefully see a flood of new republicans replacing democrat/socialists in state and federal legislatures.  

In the first American Revolution, people opposed King George's far away and out of touch government, military occupation, over taxation/regulation and self rule denial for colonials. Eventually, conditions  became intolerable for American merchants, traders, citizens and farmers. Without a second amendment, rag tag militia men and women took up their pitchforks, old hunting rifles and clubs and slowly grew from a poorly equipped military gaggle into a second or third rate military force. With help from the French and incredible native energy and determination, a loose union of states championed their desire for self rule and won. Ending in Yorktown, the birth of American liberty from the English Empire happened from humble origins fired by noble goals. The birth of a new independent nation was won with bloodshed, a remarkable constitution, and founding fathers with great vision. The first American Revolution and it's brilliant constitution made America the greatest place on earth. With amendments and improvements to our laws and customs we have prospered and survived for nearly two hundred and fifty years.  

However, our grip on national greatness has slipped over the last few decades. I think an unholy alliance has grown joining the political, media, cultural, labor union, paid DC lobbyists, domestic and international moneyed interests along with government bureaucrats into a force. This force has more collective "self " interests to maximize it's power and wealth than the interests of the "everyman" citizens of America. Also, we the people have become complacent, perhaps apathetic, about our duties as citizens. Many folks stopped voting, traded their votes for impossible eye candy freebies or voted on emotion or out of family tradition without thinking through the issues and candidates. 

Our federal government increasingly wastes taxpayer money on legislation which rarely match the promised goals. Thousand plus pages of legislation are OK'd with arrogance by lawmakers who tell us, "details will be known after we pass the bill". Earmarked millions and billions of tax payer money routinely go for projects which payback big contributors with fat contracts or to name new unnecessary bridges or buildings after big political donors. Does anyone really think in our lifetime the recently passed Infrastructure Bill will get our national rail service anywhere near the level of Japanese, Chinese, or European rail service ? Who honestly believes our airports and jetways will get more efficient or our highways and bridges will get much needed repairs and upgrades ? Deep down we know the trillion plus legislation will be poorly spent and wasted. Did Lyndon Johnson's trillion dollar plus 1965 "War on Poverty" end poverty ? Check history - it didn't ! 

The federal government constantly seeks new schemes to increase taxes and regulations on every citizen and business enterprise to pay for it's wasteful failed projects and pandering of new shiny promises. Also, the federal government seeks to micromanage the speech and behavior of citizens by using the force of it's IRS and other federal agencies to squash the free speech of dissent and punish opposition figures. The lies of big government about "no new taxes", cradle to grave government care, Trump collusion with Russians are buoyed by lobbyist funds and broadcast non stop by the ninety five percent of media favoring the political left. Brainwashing of our school children. Teaching CRT, End of the World Climate Crisis, acceptance of sexual dysfunctions, and "The 1619 Project" are now featured  curriculum in many schools. Objecting parents are censored by dictatorial school boards and labeled as "domestic terrorists" by Garland's DOJ .  

Mayors, governors and federal legislators are often bought and paid for by partisan and moneyed interests. Their re election campaign funds and personal portfolios are financed by powerful forces with goals that exclude the safety and welfare of the governed. Soaring big city homicide rates, the 2020 riots of murder, property destruction, looting, and fires are secondary concerns to many leaders who are more interested in their re election and media popularity. These loser leaders really don't care about citizen safety and the security of private property. But, CNN, NYT, WAPO, NBC etc. and other lefty propaganda outlets only report the invented crimes of Trump, 1/6 as something worse than 9/11 and Pearl Harbor and any guest "expert" willing to blame government failures on "racist" republicans or the former orange man POTUS.   

I hope and believe the political leaders who answer all criticisms with counter charges of racism will  soon diminish. The whining and angry generation of BLM, ANTIFA and aged hippies will not prevail  much longer with their bombastic arguments and violence against law and order. I believe too many citizens of good will have seen the nation mature to a place where people are judged more by "the content of their character" rather than their skin color or national origin. America has always been a nation of immigrants and a natural melting pot of incredible diversity. In my opinion, our greatness as a nation is directly linked to our diversity. The real bigots and racists among us are those political and social leaders who constantly preach about our differences and seek to divide us with class warfare into warring tribes. 

To anyone with a slight education of economics, the idealism of socialism is fools gold designed to enslave workers in a society where all production and distribution of goods and services are controlled by the government, eg. Cuba, North Korea, Venezuela to name a few. Thanks to FDR and LBJ we already have too many nasty and unfair tidbits of socialism and we don't need anymore. When manned by "honest agent" lawmakers our republic is a superior form of government because we rely on voting in representatives which represent our best interests. The key element is the election of "honest agents". In the last few voting cycles, I fear we've been too apathetic, less informed about the issues or more interested in voting for anyone not named Trump. At any rate we got Biden and without elaboration his tenure has been a colossal mess and failure for the nation and free world.  

In my opinion, to avoid a second American Revolution, which might destroy our union, we need to take care of our nation by rejecting and fact checking the daily litany and BS from government and the media. We must become better informed citizens, learn and follow the principles of our constitution and established laws. We must call our representatives, write letters to the editor, and flood our blog and face book spaces with our opinions. Equally important, we must study the issues and candidates and challenge incumbent politicians at every turn. Republican, Democrat, Socialist, Green or Other our elected officials must feel our presence and opinions.

We must realize every day and every action we take is rooted in politics. Like it or not, the business of politics effect every fiber of our lives present and future. Political decisions will control the quality and conditions of life for our future generations. Therefore our votes today, 2022 and 2024 will make the the world of our grandchildren. Our enemies domestic and foreign are counting on our apathy and ignorance to reach their goals. God forbid and short of using our second amendment rights, our best way to restore a stronger, safer and more independent America is with our ultimate action weapon - VOTING. 

  

WHAT BIDEN DOESN'T KNOW ?

While it would be impossible for any President to know all the things going on in their executive department, it does seem Biden is often clueless about some things going on in his name and under his nose. 

The most recent revelation about a plan to pay 400-450 K to certain illegal immigrants is a good case. With all the glaring failure of the Biden administration's southern border crisis, why would a scheme be developed to reward immigrant lawbreakers ? Which federal bureaucracy and unelected pinhead  official decided on this goofy idea and why was the president surprised with a reporters question about the program ?  

Our founding fathers designed a government with three distinct departments. The executive and legislative branches would be leadership people elected by the citizens and the judicial branch would be appointed master judges selected by the president and approved by congress. For many decades this brilliant system of checks and balances on government authority and powers worked, but in the last century it has begun to fail. Whoever is running the Biden show is trying to kill the equal but separate functioning feature of our government. 

With increasing regularity moneyed interests, political extremists, and agents with special concerns have infiltrated the ranks of elected officials to get their pet projects realized. Lobbyists with wheel barrows full of cash are making legislators rich with campaign donations and stock tips. Making senators and congress people wealthy and more interested in their re election than the "peoples business" makes for lazy legislators. Unable or unwilling to reject the loot and satisfied to sell their votes, lawmakers pad federal agencies with more and more employees to get things done. While there are still honest legislators the trend suggests more self interest than passion to pursue the public good. 

Unelected bureaucrats have steadily gained greater power to make regulations fitting the political agenda of their bosses. The IRS, DOJ and other federal departments have become governments within a government with rules micro managing citizens and actually endangering our constitutional rights. Foreign governments are also major players in twisting our policies to their ends with massive payoffs and bribery bucks. Finally, the media and popular culture gang wield their substantial influence by promoting their ideas with a steady stream of eye candy propaganda.

Joe Biden is very weak intellectually, but to live out his lifetime ambition as president he has allowed others to set the national agenda. More than any other recent resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Biden doesn't know what's going on in his administration. It's scary what Joe Biden doesn't know and the potential downside of his ignorance could portend future disasters for the nation. His current decisions and actions counter his career as a moderate democrat and the spectacle of his mumbling and thoughtless comments are sad to Americans who want the best of their president. More importantly, his increasing incompetence is a gift to our enemies foreign and domestic who strive and dream of a weaker America. 

More than ever, citizens are living the negative results of an incapable commander and chief. More than ever, folks are realizing the consequence of their vote and the importance of honest election mechanics. Hopefully, citizens will take greater responsibility in their voting choices in 2022 and 2024. 

  

13 TO FIRE, RETIRE OR REHIRE IN 2023 ?

Just for the record, these are the thirteen republican house members who voted for the democrat party infrastructure bill. Is passage of this bill Part 1 in getting Biden's BBB socialist initiative passed into law ? Other then these thirteen, how many other republican congress people are squishy on wasteful federal spending and socialism ?

Hopefully, citizens represented by these individuals will inquire about their reasons in  supporting this wasteful spending bill. More importantly, are these 13 people simply RINO's or just easily manipulated Pelosi pawns or both ?  The largely un publicized or publicly read infrastructure bill is likely full of wasteful expenditures which will do little to improve the roads, bridges, railways or airports of the nation. 

I hope it's a great bill which will improve our infrastructure. However, I am suspicious the current crop of selfish lobbyists, busy body bureaucrats and lying politicians fouling the DC landscape are capable of honest service to Americans - prove me wrong !  

In my opinion, it's important we know their names because the thoughtful citizens who gave them their congressional jobs should consider whether these so called republicans should be fired, retired or rehired in 2023. 

 

TRUMP HATE INC.

When he came down the escalator to announce his presidential run, a movement was born to totally discredit Donald J. Trump. I call it the birth of Trump Hate Inc. 

The quickly formed movement was headed by democrats, RINO's, DC lobbyists/bureaucrats, and the majority of print, broadcast and on line media types. The threat of an orange haired, anti establishment, pragmatic, sexist, and coarse talking candidate was considered a threat to the harmonious(?) continuation of the Clinton, Bush and Obama regimes. A Trump presidency was also proclaimed by many as the beginning of the end for America. 

Given that no man created by God is without flaws, lets review and contrast why Trump has been crucified on the altar of public opinion more than any other recent president or public figure. 

Trump was attacked for being a rich son who became a billionaire from an inheritance of millions. The forces of Trump Hate Inc. immediately assumed his wealth came from crooked deals and tax evasion schemes. Ongoing investigations from media and government snoops have found nothing. But, the false claims of financial impropriety so often repeated became a fixed reason to hate Trump. Inquiries into the sources and reasons for instant wealth of democrats Clinton, Obama, Bernie, Pelosi, Waters and others has never been explored by the "truth" agents of the media and federal government. 

We were told to reject all things Trump because he was and is a womanizer. He participated in  numerous sexual affairs and has said filthy things about women so he is the worst ever human. Forget recent past presidents FDR, Eisenhower, JFK, LBJ, Reagan and Clinton who had sexual affairs before or during their tenures as POTUS. The media purity police are most hypocritical when they forget Clinton doing sexual nasties in the Oval office and all over the White House while breathlessly reporting every lustful stare and awkward sexual comment from DJT.  

Trump quickly became a giant media target when he did several new things with the press. First, he dared to challenge repeated and false claims about his character and programs from "news" reporters and "journalists". Next he arranged talking head inquisitors not be seen in taping and still photographs of press conferences so they would not be the "news". Finally, he allowed questioners long sessions and actually enjoyed the verbal sparing sessions. Essentially, Trump a proven media champion and expert, declawed and dethroned the press from their self imposed social position of moral superiority. 

Though he ran and maintains himself as a republican, I maintain Trump is actually a MAGA pragmatist displaying no blind loyalty to any specific political party. He clearly outlined his goals during his campaign and then got things done with little regard to "sacred cow" fellow republicans, leading democrats, the media, and established political procedures. He constantly railed against excessive government regulations and bureaucracies which tend to slow and retard the progress of entrepreneurs and businesses in a capitalist economy. Even though he is, and remains incredibly rich, he became the best friend of the American "everyman". 

Through his words, actions, and deal making skills he made the nation energy independent, reduced unemployment, raised wages for every segment, maintained low inflation numbers, started no new wars while killing major terrorist leaders, sped a solution for Covid with his Warp Speed initiative, strengthened our military, secured our southern borders from illegal entrants, ushered in good tax cuts, and consistently supported police law and order. These accomplishments and positions cannot be denied, but his personal and political life was nonetheless subjected to four years of deep investigations, a few silly impeachments and ongoing inquisitions designed to negate his positive accomplishments.

Finally, a lot of folks dislike Trump because they perceive he is arrogant, mean, impolite, and rude about things with which he disagrees. While it will require decades and more objective historians, Trump's claim of a crooked 2020 election may have merit. However, his loud objections have tagged him as a riotous revolutionary by the press, democrats and many RINOS. The January 6, 2021 mob incident has been colored as something akin to 9/11, Pearl Harbor, or a new Civil War. Despite it's few  casualties, the massive mayhem, destruction and deaths of the earlier 2020 big city riots will never get equal attention from democrats or investigative agents of the fourth estate (media). However, Trump is easily and instantly labeled as the instigator and investigations will probably continue a few more decades to discredit him and maintain the evil image skillfully manipulated by his political and media enemies. 

I believe one can look at Trump's good four year results and simply compare them with the last ten months of the Biden Administration. Under DJT our domestic economy grew and prospered, our international position as a super power was maintained with new peace initiatives in the Mideast and clearly signaled messages to our overseas adversaries about our intentions. 

Trump was a good Commander in Chief. In his unique and sometimes unorthodox way he got a lot of good things done for America and Americans. Treatment by his political and media enemies has been unjust and well beyond their reportage of other presidents. In my opinion, if Trump is in good physical and mental health he should run in 2024. If he doesn't run, another candidate with a strong commitment to getting things done, limiting the scope and power of the federal government over the lives of it's citizens, and reestablishing America as a super power should be elected president.  

 

FOREVER NO TO SOCIALISM !

The utopian socialist fantasies of Bernie, AOC and other progressive dunderheads will never happen in the United States because most Americans have common sense.  

Common sense tells most thinking Americans our nation is the dream destination for millions now living in turd countries full of socialism, corruption and martial law. Why are our southern borders jammed with refugees ? Why are Afghans, Haitians and Cubans seeking a place in our states and citizenship ?  Why have all the American hater citizen crybabies not left for better places ? 

The current democratic political crap about more federal controls over education, health care, local police departments, welfare, childcare, voting rights and firearm ownership etc. is all about more federal government power over citizens, taxing the nation into poverty, and stripping states of their constitutional rights. The federal government is a massive spending machine with few checks and balances and no accountability. 

If you buy a faulty appliance you can get a refund, repair or replacement.  However, when the feds screw up, do citizens ever get a refund, apology or federal program discontinued ? How many grand sounding federal spending programs ever get anything done ? The most legitimate mission of the federal government is failing when "woke" political generals cannot manage a safe retreat from Afghanistan because their interests are about "social correctness" among the troops. 

Anyone with dreams of socialism needs a lesson in the history of mass murder of political dissidents, loss of human rights and economic hardships suffered under monsters Stalin, Mao, Castro. A two week trip to North Korea, Cuba, or Venezuela should be a requirement for anyone spouting nonsense about the "social justice" of socialism. 

The AOC gang, Bernie, Pelosi, Schumer, puppet Biden and all their accolades must be retired or voted out of office in 2022 and 2024 to save the greatest nation on the earth. The siren song and action of forever persecuting "orange man" along with the violent "wokeism" of BLM & ANTIFA will fade as more Americans protest.

Proudly and boldly citizens must show outrage for the Biden months. In less than a year we have gotten a mega dose of inflation, loss of energy independence, a free for all southern border, massive corona virus confusion, failing marks in our foreign affairs, a gaggle of wasteful spending bills, threats of more taxes and tax snoopers, and a group of federal leaders which, at times, act and look like clowns.
