On a daily basis the world is bombarded with the atrocities of madmen. We are witnessing a modern Holocaust on several fronts.
Innocent people are destroyed and subjugated to inhumane treatment in the Middle East, Ukraine, Africa, North Korea, and many other places. Children are starved, murdered, sexually mutilated, enslaved, and prostituted on a regular basis. Women are humiliated, mistreated, enslaved, and prostituted routinely by the thousands. Elderly and regular folks are displaced, murdered, and starved by the tens of thousands.
Unlike the Holocaust the whole world can see this madness and evil. Ultimately, the great nations of the world have few excuses for not doing more to end the human misery and savagery witnessed everyday. The United States as the strongest, most resourceful, and capable nation on earth, but under the questionable leadership of Obama, does little. Without declaring war or massing armies and navies, there is much the US government could do but isn't doing. Obama leadership would draw other strong nations to join in an offensive to eradicate depraved leaders and nations that cause so much human misery. Sadly, Obama is a weak, inexperienced, and uninspiring national or international leader.
For political or whatever reasons, Obama refuses to do much other than offer condolences or proclamations of anger as horror after horror unfolds. Speeches and sanctions are empty words and toilet tissue to madmen who sanction and fund murder and unwarranted assaults. The lameness of the USA and other great free nations in not physically confronting evil on a greater scale only incites more terror. Obama and his associates tend to spend more energy in defining politically correct terms, fabricating a legacy, and playing politics. Obama is influenced more by politically correct issues supported by his richest campaign donors than the Holocausts of the 21st century.
As Franklin Roosevelt aided Britain before we entered World War II, we should send Ukrainians all the military arms and supplies they need to repel Putin's deadly offensive. We should bombard North Korea with cell phones and images of the modern world that will quicken the demise of Kim and his hell hole regime. We should give Israel all the weapons and military technology needed to keep Iran and other enemies forever afraid. We should use hundreds of spies and snipers to destroy the principal leaders of the military or religious fanatical organizations that plague Africa and the Mid East. Where possible we should consider using small nuclear bombs to pulverize a rouge nation or part of it's unpopulated territory to display our deadly, swift sword of military power.
While we have the "big sticks", the United States also has the technology and stealth intelligence to wreak havoc on individuals and governments that deal so much horror and depravity on their populations and neighbors. Forget help from the UN, EU, NATO or any alphabet domestic or world committee. These useless cabals will exist and thrive forever in a self serving fog of meetings and limp declarations.
Recently we marked the seventieth anniversary of the Holocausts end. The great message from the dwindling number of survivors was that mankind should never forget the horrible acts and reality of mass murder. Communication in the mid twentieth century was slower and less complete than today's instant news gathering, therefore we have no excuses for not seeing and tasting the daily depravity and violence happening in every corner of the globe.
In my opinion, every American and world citizen should petition their government to strengthen stealth military resources and capabilities. The worlds great nations should come together in a relentless war against terrorism and the forces that wreak mass death, injury, starvation, displacement, and abuse on innocent people. There is no religion, national creed or historic tradition that justifies the daily brutality that some men deliver to their community or national neighbors.
