Soon, as we all get our vaccines, we can trash the ugly masks and enjoy the smiles of our family, friends, and fellow shoppers.
For nearly a year our government mandated the mask thing, social distancing and home confinement. Trump's "Warp Speed" collaboration of government agencies and medical companies developed a remedy in record time and President Biden will surely get the job of vaccinations finished soon.
During the scary times of 2020 and early 2021, fear and uncertainty controlled our lives. While some local and national politicians chose to make it a political weapon, too many people died and suffered isolation from their elderly loved ones. Fixing blame on where the virus originated and which political leaders and bureaucrat scientists bungled the crisis will be left to future historians. However, surviving folks can now appreciate the important realization that the damn pandemic is finally ending.
We all lost a year of companionship, education, sports, travel, jobs and entertainment, but as the Spring of 2021 deepens to Summer and Fall we may be able to "party " again like it's 2019 !
Rejoice America, as we unmask and again enjoy the beauty all the wonderful and beautiful smiles.
